Late 1800s - early 1900s Imperial German General Major rank single shoulder board.

Constructed in interwoven strands of gilt wire braids mounted on a red waffenfarbe wool base with a steel hook attachment on top. Slip on style. Scrapbook removed.

Very rare Imperial General Major shoulder board, possibly for an overcoat due to its oversized construction.
