RARE GERMAN LATE WW2 „FRANKENSTEIN” TYPE WEBBED Y-STRAPS MARKED

Third Reich Era Wehrmacht y-straps.

Crude webbed cotton construction with painted steel hardware. Steel belt attaching hooks are maker marked "AB" for Adolf Baumeister, together with oval ink stamps on both straps. Constructed out of 2 types and colors (tan and green) of German canvas webbing, making it a literal „Frankenstein” type set. One of my close friends who specializes in late war German artifacts, hinted at possible forced labor camp production in the early 1945.
