Instituted in Hungary, March, 1922 by Miklos Horthy, Hungarian order of merit is a rare award given by Hungarian Government for relief work after World War 1. The medal was established to recognize members of the Hungarian Red Cross for their service in public health, charity and rebuilding the country.

Very good condition, .935 Silver construction with green, white and red enamel.
