Rarer variant in a beautiful condition. Gilt metal, blue enameled construction. Maker marked - “Orber Mfg. Co., Pawtucket, R.I.021”. Both attaching buttons are complete and original to the pin.

317th US Army Infantry Regiment badge was one of three regiments which belonged to the 80th Infantry Division during World War 2 and saw heavy fighting. Regiment exists to this day.
